Part PW008 - Elgin Fancy Dial 16 Size Coin Silver Watch
11J Elgin fancy dial magnificent mint case, 16 size coin silver open face lever set #2,886,055, circa 1886. In wonderful mint condition, this frosted, gilt, 3/4 plate movt. features ruby jewels and screw down settings. Solid gold Louis XIV style hands center the superb fancy original dial. The dial is marked with Roman hr. chapters. Gold fleur-de-lis symbols, fancy silver circular frames, a hand painted Masonic symbol and a skull & cross bone design are all found on this unique early dial. The double hinged back case is in wonderful mint condition and fully engine turned on the back cover. The case also comes with a reeded design on the outer rim. All of our pocket watches run perfectly and have been restored by a master watch maker unless otherwise noted.
